Wallace, (William Roy) DeWitt
(1889-1981) Уоллес, (Уильям Рой) Девитт
Издатель и редактор. После окончания Колледжа Макалистера [Macalester College] и Калифорнийского университета в Беркли [California, University of, UC, Berkeley] вернулся в родной штат Миннесота, где торговал книгами, занимался журналистикой. В 1922 вместе с женой Л. Ачесон [Acheson, Lila Bell] (1889-1984) начал издание журнала "Ридерс дайджест" [Reader's Digest]. Был известен также как филантроп, внес значительные суммы в фонд нью-йоркского музея "Метрополитен" [Metropolitan Museum of Art]
